Pieces without an author’s name are by the editor
Parish Notices
Thanks to the usual suspects for information, especially Jane Affleck and Robert Henderson for the continuous stream of articles; and to Phil Chamberlain who spotted Norman Baker’s House of Commons adjournment debate on MI6.
The content of a number of the articles and reviews in this issue may seem to overlap or to be related. I could claim that this was clever editing on my part but it is an accident; or, perhaps, something more than an accident but unintentional. Sometimes the people who write for this magazine just end up seeing the world in the same way.
The contributions to this issue were submitted before the mid-term elections in America and in a couple of instances the texts could have been rewritten to reflect the result. But I have left them as they were originally written.
Pieces without a stated author are by me.
