21. Mind control etc [Lobster #43 (Summer 2002)]
... (c) www.lobster-magazine.co.uk (Issue 43) Summer 2002 Last| Contents| Next Issue 43 Mind control etc Someone pointed out to me that Lobster 42 ranged from Gladstone to UFOs, a spread probably unique today. But this range has a downside: things get picked up and then sidelined. One such area is the field bounded on one side by what is known as mind control and on the other by non-lethal technologies. I'm still collecting material in these areas and below is a summary of some recent developments. Active Denial Developed jointly by the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Department of Defense's Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate, Active Denial is a narrow beam of millimeter-wave electromagnetic energy ...

... (c) www.lobster-magazine.co.uk (Issue 42) Winter 2001/2 Last| Contents| Next Issue 42 UFOs and disinformation In Lobster 40 I wrote about a long-term operation by elements within the US military and intelligence services to disinform those interested in UFOs. More information on this has subsequently come to light. The MAJESTIC mystery solved? The real author of this section is Martin Cannon: I have just rewritten his e-mail to me. The background is the long-running controversy about the so-called MAJESTIC papers, documents apparently leaked to the UFO researcher William Moore in the 1980s, purporting to come from a super-secret US government committee of the 1950s which was handling the UFO issue at the time ...

When he says that UFO reports conceal a new technology with the potential to change the world, a technology kept secret by the US military-industrial complex for decades, he should be worth listening to. Zero Point (8) starts with a news clipping from 1956 turning up on Cook's desk. The article, 'The G-Engines Are Coming', describes how US aircraft companies ...

Phil Edwards I once sat in on an interesting conversation between two well known writers on the underside of politics. At one point, one of them alluded disparagingly to one of the scruffier areas of the conspiracy fringe- UFOs, maybe. The other reacted immediately: 'Oh, you don't want to go there!' The first agreed enthusiastically, and a kind of double-act developed: 'Mind control?' 'Don't want to go there!' 'Remote viewing?' 'Don't want to go there!' 'Hilda Murrell?' 'Don't want to go there!' ...

Greg Bishop Adventures Unlimited, Kempton, Illinois 60946 $24.99 from Flatland This has an introduction by Kenn Thomas of Steamshovel and shares much of its subject matter with Thomas' magazine. That subject matter being UFOs; what I would call consciousness politics- drugs, mysticism, the paranormal, mind control, remote viewing; secrecy and conspiracy theories; the secret state; and the interfaces between many of these. As a 52-year old who took acid, read Leary, Reich, Lilly, Castaneda et al in the 1970s, to me this ...

28. Feedback [Lobster #41 (Summer 2001)]
... sessions exist. The first session occurred shortly after the abduction incident. The most noteworthy thing about it: Myrna speaks of being taken by soldiers, not aliens, after she had seen vaguely-described unusual activity taking place near Kirtland AFB in New Mexico. Davidson confirmed for me that, at the time, everyone talking to Myrna merely presumed that UFOs were involved. This is typical of the conclusion-hopping one encounters in ufology. Davidson didn't even realise, until I pointed the fact out to him, that everything in the first hypnosis session had an earth-bound explanation. The second hypnosis session occurred about five months later. That session does include all sorts of loopy and unbelievable 'alien' stories ...

... say that my main interest is in the interface between the political and the intelligence worlds; between secret and authoritarian; between open and democratic. But really I'm just interested in the nature of political and historical reality. I've read Professor Freedman's excellent book on the U.S. intelligence estimating process; (2) but I also read books about UFOs. Both are part of political reality as I see it. Indeed both overlap: the CIA is certainly interested in UFOs. A loose alliance of intelligence officers in America, led by a CIA officer named Ron Pandolphi, has spent the last 20 years running disinformation at the American UFO buffs. If you have watched the X Files ...

Material ranges from Jack Kerouac to mind control and the quality ranges from the poor (though there isn't much of that) to the seriously good. To give a flavour of all this, the first few pieces in volume 1 are: editor Thomas defending a UFO researcher called Sean Morton; a set of comments on the 'fusion paranoia' concept; a review of Bob Black's Anarchy After Leftism; editor Thomas on 'Reich and Little Rock'; a snippet on Cord Meyer, Mary Meyer, James Angleton et al; and a long extract from Charles Ameringer's U.S.Foreign Intelligence: the Secret Side of American ...
